NEW BEGINING

The beginning of a new year is a great time for making a fresh new start. Two important components in moving forward are repairing of the old and preparing for the new.

Repairing involves making changes and denying ourselves a stagnant lifestyle, or removing something that is not good for us in order to receive God’s perfect plan for our lives.

Making a fresh start means preparing for what lies ahead as best as we can. It starts with asking God for his help and being introspective into things that need to be changed.

It may mean giving a sincere apology to someone we have hurt and having a willingness to start over. It includes having an open-mind and willing heart to make the changes that are necessary to move forward in a healthy direction.

We should search our hearts to find out how we can best repair our past and prepare for days ahead. In doing so, we can make "today" one of our best ones yet.
